I am many things, as most people are. I am a lover of boldness and creativity. I think I am addicted to coffee- this could only be proven if I stopped drinking it which I won't ever do. I am an ENFP (a very strong one at that). I love all things outdoors, especially fly-fishing. I have a heart for service and for making people laugh. Corny jokes and encouragement are my love language. I love to write, read realistic historical fiction and sniff out the nearest live music scene.
In May 2015, I graduated from Appalachian State University in the small town of Boone, N.C. with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Non-Profit Management. However, as of nearly a year ago, I am a New York City transplant. I am an Account Executive at Yelp Inc. and resident comedian/barista at Apartment C on 18th Street. In short, I am a witty, vibrant individual seeking opportunities in public relations and digital marketing/communications that demand creativity, gregariousness and superior writing skills.
I have many ambitions but the dream is to work for a social entrepreneurship, grassroots non-profit organization, or PR agency as its communications director, social media strategist or community relations coordinator. I would love to work in an fast-paced environment that encourages creativity, fosters community and presents me with new challenges daily. If the job were to include travel, well, then that would just be a bonus.
